The ambient operating temperature MUST be maintained between -40°C (-40°F) and 80°C (176°F). Exposure above 80°C will cause rapid demagnetization, with degradation rate accelerating proportionally to temperature increase. Optimal performance is achieved at room temperature (20±15°C).
Before lifting, clean the surface of the workpiece thoroughly. Remove any rust scale or sharp protrusions. Align the lifter's centerline with the workpiece's center of gravity. Position the lifter on the workpiece surface, then rotate the handle from the "OFF" position toward "ON" until it reaches the limit pin. Verify that the safety latch on the handle has engaged automatically before lifting.
